Bag measurements: 38 cm x 34 cm x 8 cm
This piece was developed following a repeated demand for a bag that could fit a laptop (and protect it from the Antwerp rain). Since Marie’s design language doesn’t favour simple square shapes, a second functionality was added: when empty, the top of the bag folds over asymmetrically. In this way, it can carry documents, screen devices etc. during the day, and be your soft, medium sized companion during the evening and in any more casual moment.
The "T" construction and fold-over closure create a simple, functional design, complemented by a adjustable strap with long fringe detailing made from strong Belgian belt leather.
The bag unlined and features an inside pocket in pigskin to store keys and phone.
Handstitched finishes give the bag its artisanal quality. Due to the natural grain of the vegetable tanned leather, each bag will have a slightly different appearance.
